When the World Unites in Prayer

February 26, 2018

“His intent was that now, through the Church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms.”
Ephesians 3:10  NIV

Now is the time to unite in prayer.

This Friday, believers in 170 nations around the world will join in prayer for peace and justice.

The World Day of Prayer was initiated in 1887 by Mary Ellen James in Brooklyn, New York. It was originally a call for women to unite in prayer for the world, but has since become an international observance among all people.

“All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer.”
Acts 1:14 ESV

Now, more than ever, the world needs the Church to unite in prayer.

Even as we become more interconnected in this digital age, instead of voicing our fears and concerns on social media, let’s voice our faith and confidence in God.

Never has there been a time in history when the Body of Christ around the globe can join together in one faith-filled accord!

Join me LIVE this Thursday at 7pm ET as we gather online for another powerful 4 Points Broadcast!

Together we will explore how the manifold wisdom of God is being revealed in the earth and how you can live an abundantly blessed life as a result.

These are the keys to living with the power and authority God purposed for His Church from the beginning…according to “His eternal plan, which He carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord” (Eph. 3:11 NLT).

“God’s purpose in all this was to use the Church to display His wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.”
Ephesians 3:10 NLT

It is up to you and I to display the wisdom of God—but we must first obtain it.

How do we become “wise as serpents and harmless as doves” (Matthew 10:16)?

Through “heartfelt and persistent prayer” (James 5:16 AMP).

“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you.”
James 1:5 NLT

It’s time the Church came together and pressed into Heaven for the answers this Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (what the military terms “VUCA”) world so desperately needs!

The answers will not be found in the halls of academia or government—not within think tanks, committee meetings, or special task forces. And they especially won’t be revealed by journalists or analysts or social scientists.

“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight.”
1 Corinthians 3:19 NIV

It is incumbent upon each of us in this day and hour to exercise our faith by asking God for the wisdom we need to expose deception, dismantle strongholds, and unleash divine solutions.

Irregardless of what it looks like in the natural, we know “our fight is not with people. It is against the leaders and the powers and the spirits of darkness in this world” (Eph. 6:12 NLV).

“Our fight is not against people on earth but against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly world.”
Ephesians 6:12 NCV

Likewise, the answers we seek will not be found in people but in God.

What we experience in the earth realm is simply a manifestation of what is happening in the spirit realm. And this is what I show you how to navigate in my book When Kingdoms Clash.

Battles are raging and the stakes are high; only through prayer will God’s Kingdom prevail.

If you loved The Atomic Power of Prayer book and CD, you’ll want to add When Kingdoms Clash: Strategies for Prayer in the Heat of Battle book and DVD to your library.

We need to become skilled practitioners in the art of prayer and spiritual battle. The whole earth is counting on us to wake up and grow up and step up! (See Romans 8:19.)

When believers around the globe unite in prayer, there will be a major shift in the tide of world events.

Most of us have heard this popular quote by author Margaret Mead: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.”

Imagine what would happen if a large group of prayerful believers engaged their faith in the power of God to flood the world with His wisdom.

Imagine “the earth filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea” (Hab. 2:14).

When the world unites in prayer, God’s power and wisdom will be displayed!

Now is the time.

“Your faith, then, does not rest on human wisdom but on God’s power.”
1 Corinthians 2:5 GNT
