“But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Matthew 6:33
In last week’s 4 Point Broadcast, we continued our series, Living the Blessed Life, addressing the fourth Beatitude in Matthew 5.
This is a fitting message as we embark on the second week of the Lenten season—a biblical 40-day period consecrated to seeking first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.”
Matthew 5:6
If you are feeling unfulfilled in any area of your life, now is the time to re-evaluate what you are pursuing and realign your priorities.
In fact, if you want to become more, have more, and achieve more, you need to listen to the keys and principles outlined in this broadcast.
Learn how you can level up your life.
I challenge you to whole-heartedly pursue the blessed life Jesus outlined in the Beatitudes—and when you do, everyone you love, and even the world around you, will be blessed as a result!
Each and every one of us have the power to turn the world upside right.
Now is the time to supernaturally break free from the status quo.
Everything in your life and in the lives of those you love can shift by activating this one, simple truth: Fulfillment begins with hungering after God’s righteousness above all else.
You can live an abundantly fulfilled life—you can wake up in the morning and go to bed at night feeling fulfilled.
You can experience fulfillment in your relationships, in your work, in all of your roles and obligations because you have taken care of first things first.
“Morning by morning He wakens me and opens my understanding to His will. The Sovereign Lord has spoken to me, and I have listened. I have not rebelled or turned away.”
Isaiah 50:4-5 NLT
When you make loving God and hearing from Him your highest pursuit, you will live a life of fulfillment above and beyond what you could ask or imagine. (See Ephesians 3:20.)
Fulfillment means you are deeply satisfied because you are living at full capacity when it comes to your ability and character.
Fulfillment happens when you bring your goals, dreams, and aspirations to reality.
Fulfillment speaks to being successful at carrying out a task or duty or role or assignment; it has to do with being satisfied, happy, pleased, untroubled, content, or at ease—living in the realm of peace.
I decree and declare that as you embrace this Beatitude, your days of being discontent, unhappy, and unfulfilled are over!
Today God is empowering you to realize your dreams!
Today God is empowering you to fulfill your purpose—He is empowering you to accomplish your goals.
I decree and declare that every hindrance coming between you and your most fulfilled life is canceled!
I decree and declare that people who have frustrated you will have a change of heart—they will celebrate you as you realize your purpose and accomplish a great goal.
A goal is going to be satisfied in this season—it’s going to be satiated.
Living a fulfilled life begins when you purpose in your heart to pursue righteousness—when you place all of your energies into maintaining a right standing before God.
You must decide every moment not to compromise your Christian values, character, or integrity.
When Adam pursued something other than God’s best for Him—when He was seduced into walking away from his right standing with God—it caused him to fall and all of humanity to live in a state of feeling as if something is missing.
People would still rather sacrifice their right standing with God for things they don’t truly need or should have.
When man fell, the enemy gave him an un-natural appetite.
As Will Rogers once said, “Too many people spend money they haven’t earned to buy things they don’t want to impress people they don’t like.”
“For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?”
Matthew 8:36 ESV
God said you can have all things, including a fulfilled life, when you put first things first.
The level of fulfillment every person is seeking begins with first seeking the King and His Kingdom.
“Jesus said to them, ‘My food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to accomplish His work.'”
John 4:34 ESV
In this generation of believers, God is realigning our appetites—the deepest organic cravings within mankind that motivate and drive us to act or behave or respond in a certain way.
Your days of living with an emptiness are over! You will be blessed beyond measure when you are able to say, “I’m not going to compromise my relationship with God for any thing or any person.”
If you want your life to stand for something, hunger and thirst after righteousness.
Get ready for uncommon favor, for rare opportunities, surprising breakthroughs, stupendous success, amazing wealth, terrific friendships, and a magnificent, miraculous life!
Get ready to break free from the status quo and break into a life of true fulfillment.
“Some people have turned from the faith because of their love for money. They have made much pain for themselves because of this. But you, man [and woman] of God, turn away from all these sinful things. Work at being right with God. Live a God-like life.”
1 Timothy 6:10-11 NLV
