“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Are you in need of a fresh start? Do you need to reboot your perspective—renew your hope?
You’re in the right place!
Let me remind you that God’s mercies are new every morning (see Lamentations 3:22-23), that He invites you in every present moment to renew your mind to the hope you have in Him (see Romans 12:2), and that He is always ready to renew a right and steadfast spirit within you (see Psalm 51:10 AMP).
If that’s your heart’s cry today, you’re in good company. David also cried out to God for a new start:
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
Psalm 51:10
Meditate on how The Message phrases it:
“God, make a fresh start in me,
shape a Genesis week from the chaos of my life.
Don’t throw me out with the trash,
or fail to breathe holiness in me.
Bring me back from gray exile,
put a fresh wind in my sails!”
Do you feel as if there’s a bit of chaos in your life as you regroup from summer? Or that you’ve lost a bit of momentum and need to generate some forward motion again?
Then believe God to put a fresh wind in your sails!
As we launch into September and the start of a new season, reset your intention to end 2017 strong!
There’s nothing more powerful than hope in a compelling vision to propel you forward.
“I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward…I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back!”
Philippians 3:14 MSG

This week, I encourage you to harness the power of hope to reboot your dreams.
What one thing can you tap into right now that will change everything?
Hope in God’s many promises, among them to complete the good work He has begun in you (see Philippians 1:6)—because this hope is an unbreakable lifeline “sure and strong” (Hebrews 6:19 NCV).
“We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline.”
Hebrews 6:18-20 MSG
In other words, “This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls” (Hebrews 6:19 NLT).
Hope is powerful.
Without the hope of a desired outcome—a vision—people perish from despair (lack of hope) and discouragement (lack of courage) every single day.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish.”
Proverbs 29:18 KJV
This is why God told Jeremiah to hold on to hope, the same hope God held on to for him: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good…to give you a future and a hope'” (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT).
God has nothing but good in mind for you.
So let me ask you today, “What do you have in mind for you?”
What’s the future you hope for?
“I know what I’m doing,” says the Lord. “I have it all planned out…plans to give you the future you hope for” (Jeremiah 29:11 MSG).
Simply put, what do you want the Lord to do for you?
Get clear on exactly where you want to be four months from now…and pray into it. Ask God to help you get there, because sometimes all you have to do is ask. (See James 4:2.)
“What do you want me to do for you?”
Mark 10:51 NLT
Let God know if you want to join me in Atlanta November 10-12!
